Prof. Munyaradzi Chitakira

Munyaradzi Chitakra is currently an Associate Professor at a South African university. He holds a PhD in Environment and Society from the University of Pretoria and a Masters in Environmental Policy and Planning. from the University of Zimbabwe. He also holds a Further Education Teachers' diploma, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education and an Executive Diploma in Business Leadership. He has over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications mainly in the field of Environmental Management. He has supervised to completion 11 Masters and Doctoral students from across Africa and mentored 3 Post-Doctoral fellows. He has examined over 20 Masters and Doctoral theses from various Universities. Prof Chitakira is an AMFCC part-time graduate who holds a Diploma in Biblical Studies and Christian Leadership. He is volunteering as a lecturer for AMFCC Part-Time in RSA and is currently the National Academic Board Chairperson. He has been an elder in FIF for 22 years and has been a coordinating elder for 7 years. He is married to Venencia for 23 years and the couple is blessed with one daughter and two sons. Elder Chitakira is currently the Home-Cell Groups Director for Johannesburg West Province. He has a passion to see people grounded in the word of God. He is inspired by the prophetic message that 'the Church will grow thick through Amfcc Part-time and home cell groups'.
